These are the
actual cartoons that I drew in the diaries that I kept during my year
of transition prior to surgery. It was a long and agonizingly
difficult year, and the diary, and these cartoons, were one of the
ways I coped with the horror.
I offer them to
you, in all their rough glory, for they are the distilled essence of
one of the greater adventures of my rather adventurous life!
